A beautiful door handle, door latch or door knob can therefore contribute greatly to a positive first impression and a welcoming atmosphere.

The change pin is used for a lock set with fixed knob on the door to the outside,
one cannot open the door using the knob and the latch on the inside, which allows you to open the door from the inside. This is achieved by means of the interchangeable prong.
The doorknob is screwed onto the screw thread of the pin, it must then be tightened with pliers, it is better to put something lock-side in between, then it will never come loose again!

Also bear in mind that if you want to equip an old door with this lock set:
Old doors used to often have a locknut-thorn size of 10 x 10 mm, modern locks have a DIN size of 8 x 8 mm. - We offer a thickening bushing through this site that thickens the mandrel to 10 x 10 mm on, see photo - bushing can be found in our webshop on individual equipment - not included in this delivery!!!

Care and maintenance recommendation door hardware:
The cast-iron surfaces of this fitting (long plates) have been coated with a moisture-repellent protective coating.
The handles of this set should be regularly treated with polishing wax. This forms a film layer and prevents the natural oxidation of the antique iron!!!
