A beautiful and high-quality Art Nouveau cast iron corner iron.  The original was made in the early part of the century.
The Art Nouveau boom - support is a large powerful support for building e.g. an awning or at the entrance of a house.

The large corner carrier has a natural patina of rust.
Cast iron never rusts through, however, you can brush off the rust patina and simply coat the surface with a varnish of your choice.
